At Oracle Opticians, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the freedom and convenience of contact lenses. That’s why we offer a free contact lens check, giving you the time, guidance, and support needed to find the perfect lenses for your eyes. The only requirement is that you have an up-to-date sight test, which ensures we can provide the clearest vision possible. If your sight test isn’t current, we can arrange one for you. (T&C's apply)

Contact Lens Assessment

At Oracle Opticians, we offer a comprehensive contact lens assessment to ensure your lenses are not causing any adverse issues and that your eyes remain healthy. Regular checks are crucial for maintaining optimal eye health and comfort, as well as ensuring your vision remains clear. During the assessment, our expert opticians will:

Check your contact lens prescription to confirm you are achieving the clearest possible vision.

Compare your vision with spectacles to identify any potential changes in your prescription.
​

Perform a full corneal health check, including a fluorescein assessment, to ensure your lenses are not impacting the health of your eyes. We use a digital slit lamp to track any issues that may arise that we need to resolve.

Conduct a lid eversion examination to check that your eyelids are not being adversely affected by contact lens wear.

Carry out any further investigations needed if an issue is detected during the assessment.
This detailed evaluation helps us address any concerns early, ensuring your contact lenses remain safe and comfortable while preserving the long-term health of your eyes. Pay for your contact lenses via direct debit and you will be enrolled automatically onto our eye care where all contact lens assessments are included along with other services.
