This non-invasive therapy utilises photobiomodulation to stimulate retinal cells, aiming to slow disease progression and enhance visual function.
With over two decades of experience, we also offer a wide selection of designer, bespoke, and classic-style spectacles, from brand like DITA, AHLEM, Tom Ford, Oliver Peoples, Tiffany, Ray Ban, Oakley and more. The Team At Oracle Opticians
Over 45 years of combined optical and customer service experience!
In January 2024, an opportunity arose for me to take over an independent practice in the centre of Shipley. A practice with a steady customer base and a small retail unit.
With 19 years working as an Optometrist, six years at a director level, working with industry leaders, I decided it was time to embark on this journey and to follow a passion of mine.
As of May 2024 the Practice has relocated, restructured and a team of people have joined to help take Oracle Opticians to reach new heights. Nadia Dyson, our designated Practice Manager and qualified Dispensing Optician, took a leap of faith in me and has helped bring this practice to life with all her positive energy. Our Customer Services lead, Michelle Edwards joined our team with such drive and warmth. I am very thankful to my team and look forward to our journey on this adventure.
We are excite to provide a host of new and innovative services such as Valeda Lumithera Light Delivery System to the whole of Yorkshire and the North. We have over 45 years combined optical and customer services experience and look forward to sharing this with you.

By Car
Sat Nav: Type in the postcode BD18 3QD into your Sat Nav, 18 Market Street, and follow the route straight to us.

From Bradford: Take the A650 towards Shipley. Continue onto Otley Road/A6038, then turn right onto Market Street. Our practice is located on the left.
From Leeds: Follow the A65 towards Guiseley, then take the A6038 towards Shipley. Turn left onto Market Street; you’ll find us on the left.
From Huddersfield: Take the A629 towards Halifax, then continue on the A6036 towards Bradford. Merge onto the A650 towards Shipley, then turn onto Market Street.

There is free parking for 1 hour directly outside the store, with additional parking available at the nearby Asda Shipley Superstore on Manor Lane, just a short walk away.
By Public Transport
Bus: Several bus routes serve the Shipley area. The 576 bus operates between Bradford City Centre and Halifax Town Centre, with stops near Market Street. Additionally, the 614 bus serves the area. For detailed routes and schedules, visit First Bus West Yorkshire.
Train: Shipley Railway Station is approximately a 5-minute walk from our practice. It is served by Northern Rail, with regular connections to Bradford, Leeds, and other regional destinations. Upon exiting the station, head southeast on Station Road, turn left onto Otley Road/A6038, then right onto Market Street.
By Foot
If you’re in the Shipley area, our practice is easily accessible on foot. Located on Market Street, we’re near local landmarks such as Shipley Market Square and the Costa Coffee.
